Anton Shingarev
Director of Government Relations, Kaspersky Lab

As Head of the CEO Office of Kaspersky Lab, Anton Shingarev leads the personal media and support office of Eugene Kaspersky – founder, Chairman and CEO of Kaspersky Lab. In this function Anton and his team provide full PR support to the CEO, including overseeing the CEO’s reputation management and fully coordinating the CEO’s communications with mass media worldwide, working in close cooperation with both the company’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations departments. Anton also assists in formulating corporate vision and strategy and in enhancing corporate identity. All this comes under the overreaching strategy of consistent execution of a successful worldwide media campaign to position the CEO as a global thought leader and top authority in cybersecurity.

Simultaneously, in his role as Director of Government Relations of Kaspersky Lab, Anton coordinates the company’s worldwide public policy agenda by managing both the company and the CEO’s cooperation and communications with national and international governmental bodies (UK, EU, etc.) and international public institutions and organizations (the United Nations, the World Economic Forum in Davos, INTERPOL, etc.), including coordinating participation in government-level events, programs and projects, and negotiating contracts and strategic alliances. 

Former Roles, Education

Before moving to Kaspersky Lab in 2012 as Senior Press Officer with the CEO Office, Anton was the Head Producer of Foreign Bureaus at RT, the international TV news channel, based in Moscow. Prior to that he was a news producer with Russian state TV channel Rossiya-1, based in London. And before that he was first a producer, then a broadcast planning manager, and finally the Head of the Domestic News Department at RT in Moscow.

Anton graduated from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow with a BA in Political Management and Public Relations in 2007. In 2011 he received his MA in Media Management with merit from Westminster University in London.
