Cezary Stypułkowski holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Warsaw. He studied at Columbia University Business School in New York as a member of the Fulbright Program. He chaired the management board of Bank Handlowy S.A. for thirteen years, made it the leader of corporate and investment banking in Poland together with his team and successfully turned it into a public company. Mr. Stypułkowski was appointed as president of PZU Group in 2003.
He successfully managed with his colleagues it for three years. The net result and the valuation of the group trebled as a consequence. In 2006, he became the Managing Director of J.P. Morgan Investment Bank in Central and Eastern Europe. Cezary Stypułkowski was also a member of the Deutsche Bank Board International Advisory Board, INSEAD International Advisory Board, Institute of International Finance in Washington and Geneva Association. From August 2012 he is a Co-Chairman of Emerging Markets Advisory Council to the Institute of International Finance.
