James Moed is a financial service designer and product coach, working with startups, banks, and NGOs to create the future of money. He’s spent much of the past 11 years understanding people’s changing needs and behaviours, from Indian farmers to Manchester mums, to Hong Kong billionaires. James applies that insight to help innovation leaders and UX teams build, test and refine new products and experiences.
Until 2014, James was the Director of Financial Service Design at IDEO in London. Today he’s the “design thinker” in residence at Seedcamp, Europe’s leading startup accelerator and an associate at Anthemis, the leading fintech VC.
James has a B.A. in international relations from Brown University and an MBA from INSEAD - which means he speaks just enough French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Japanese, and Hebrew to get into trouble almost anywhere in the world.
