It was clear from his appearance on Britain’s popular teens quiz show ‘Blockbusters’ at the age of 16, that Marc had both a brilliant mind and a competitive streak that would push him to succeed.
Recruited as an analyst for American Express before he graduated from Brighton University with a degree in Management Studies and French, Marc began his career at the heart of an operations environment, learning the payments industry inside out from the ground up.
Over the course of his 15 years at American Express, Marc channeled his passion for creating great customer experiences across every line of business and with particular emphasis on cultivating customer loyalty through Membership Rewards. His fascination with airlines led him to bring in many major airlines into partnership across a truly global range of markets. His consistent judgment and strong leadership in combination with his passion for his clients and their customers earned him his ultimate role at American Express as Head of Business Development for the EMEA region at the age of 36.
Marc joined Aimia to lead their Global Business Development and Brand efforts and became part of their Executive Leadership team. In his time with Aimia, Marc has continued drive innovative partnerships with airlines, retailers and financial services companies to grow Aimia’s global footprint, whilst implementing the necessary global processes and structures to push himself and Aimia towards even greater success.
